Our recent foray into the Chinese ingredients market is causing a stir in the wider press with a mention in the British Baker magazine website.
Having recently been approved as a food importer and agent to the Chinese market, we developed a new brand, Copihue, for our specialist Chinese range of honey, cereal flakes and extra virgin olive oil. Unicon Ingredients opened an office in China in 2011, and we quickly realised that we could import as well as export from the country. This is a relatively new initiative, but we are seeing growth and we are pleased with the way things are going in this large and potentially profitable market.
