Appointments: Hemant Gupte (India office)

We are pleased to advise that to continue the development of Unicorn Ingredients position in the seed supply business we are delighted to have expanded the team with Mr Hemant Gupte. Hemant will be located from our new office in India. He will be responsible for all activities from this region, and will work to improve our position technically, logistically and commercially.

Hemant will complement our communication with yourselves and work to make sure our existing and future customers requirements are met to the expectations we and they hold. His background is as follows:

Hemant Gupte, is a qualified Mechanical Engineer from M.S. University, Baroda.

He has a vast Experience of more than 40 years working in various Engineering, Automobile, PVC & Food Processing Industries in Production, Maintenance, Projects, General Administration, Marketing & Exports.

He has  Project Experience of Inspection, Installation & Successful Implementation of a Coating Line from Germany & Plating Line from USA

He has taken specific training of ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management Awareness Course in 2007, ISO 22000 : 2005 Awareness, Implementation & Internal Auditor Training course in 2008, Product Traceability & Recall In Food Industry in 2009, HACCP training   in 2011 & Third Party Auditor – BRC Global Standard for Food safety issue 6 in 2012.

Part of the development of Unicorn Ingredients is the implementation of BRC certification, and Hemant will assist us in this manner. He will develop export opportunities for us in the Southern Hemisphere and  assist in developing our sourcing strategies for our existing markets.

Having a representative based in India compliments the existing offices of Unicorn in the UK & China, and we are very excited to have him join the team.
