Winners Kim and Gert-Jan from Bakels receiving their prize.
Earlier this year, Frank’s daughter Jenny sadly passed away at the end of June, aged 19, whilst achieving two of her life goals – to travel New Zealand and help with conservation projects in Africa. In her memory we launched a fundraising competition to benefit Jenny’s favourite charity, Africat UK, and aid conservation in Africa.
All money raised will go to Jenny’s favourite charity AfriCat. The UK based charity succeeds in community enhancement through conservation and education. At the Okonjima reserve in Namibia, the charity’s central aim is the long-term conservation of Namibia’s large carnivores and the environment and community within which they reside.
We would like to extend our thanks and to all who chose to enter the competition and support our fundraising efforts: so far we have raised over £8,500.
The competition winners
We asked you how many Sunflower seeds were in our 25kg bag.
We are pleased to announce that the prize of a case of 12 bottles of Moët & Chandon Champagne was won by Bakels, whose guess of 637,500 was the closest to our count of 676,750.
